The Henley Passport Index (HPI), a global passport-ranking website, released its list of the most powerful passports in the world on Thursday.

HPI’s index is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

IATA is the largest and most accurate travel information database, and is further enhanced by Henley & Partners’ research team.

According to the index, Nigeria ranks 95th out of the 104 countries with the most powerful passports.

Nigeria is surpassed by countries such as Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Morocco, Benin Republic, and Namibia, which hold the 76th, 83rd, 67th, 65th, 71st, 79th, and 65th positions, respectively.

Nigerians now have access to approximately 45 visa-free countries with their passports, according to the index.
