The Katcha Local Government Area in Niger State has been thrown into a state of mourning, following the demise of its chairman.
Danlami Abdullahi Saku was reported to have passed away in a gruesome accident along the Minna-Suleja Road on Tuesday evening while he was going to Abuja.
Reacting to this news, the Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has sent condolence messages to the family, tagging the incident as unfortunate and heartbreaking.

In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, he also offered his condolences to the people of Katcha, and the entire state.
