Lockdown: Lagos Reopens Spas, Cinemas And Other Recreational Centres

The Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has okayed the reopening of spas, cinemas and other recreational centers in the state.

This was announced by the Governor during a briefing on Saturday.

Recreational outlets in the state had since March been shut to curtail the spread of the deadly pandemic, COVID-19.

While other public places like airports, markets, banks, amongst others have been reopened, beaches, cinemas, and other relaxation places remain closed.

However, recreational outlets within the state must obtain mandatory clearance from the state safety commission before reopening.

In addition, cinemas are to observe COVID-19 protocols including social distancing.
