Magbei Congratulates Takeme on Election as Burutu Council Chairman

Comrade Tare Magbei has congratulated Chief Julius Takeme on his election as Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area.

The election, which held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, concluded with Chief Takeme emerging victorious, much to the celebration of his supporters and well-wishers.

In a congratulatory message on Sunday, Magbei, who is the Information Officer of the Ijaw Youth Council Western Zone, expressed utmost confidence in Takeme’s leadership abilities, anticipating a transformative tenure under his administration.

The Secretary of the Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF), highlighted Takeme’s extensive political experience and previous roles as significant indicators of his capability to lead Burutu to unprecedented heights.

“Congratulation, Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme, the Olotu of Obotebe Kingdom, on your election as Chairman Burutu Local Government Area.

“You have overtime demonstrated exceptional leadership acumen throughout your political career.

“Your tenure as a former Commissioner and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta South was marked with notable achievements and a commitment to public service.

“I have no doubt that your administration will prioritize people-oriented policies and initiatives that will drive the development of Burutu Local Government Area.”

Magbei further emphasized the importance of leveraging Takeme’s previous experience as Acting Chairman of the Burutu Council, urging him to build on the foundations he has already established.

“Your performance as Acting Chairman of the Council also did set a precedent for what can be achieved with dedication and strategic planning. I am hopeful that you will continue on this path and bring about the needed development that Burutu so rightly deserves,” Magbei added.

Takeme has received widespread support and encouragement from various quarters, with many expressing optimism about the future under his leadership.
