Man Arrested For Defiling 12-Year-Old Girl In Ogun

Operatives of the Ogun state police command have arrested a man for the alleged defilement of a minor in the state.

Men of the police force in Ogun state have arrested one Alfa Jubril Dalamun, 31, for allegedly defiling a 12-years-old girl in the state.

According to reports, Dalamun was said to have committed the crime in the Ago Iwore area of the state.

Confirming the arrest, the command’s PRO, Omolola Odutola, in a statement released on Tuesday, October 22, said a case of sexual assault was received by the Divisional Police.

She explained that a woman, who identified herself as  Mrs. Kehinde Kafayat, resident of Adekoja Street in Abobi Ago Iwoye, in company of her 12-years-old daughter had come to report a rape case against her daughter.

Kafayat claims that a 39-year-old man, Alfa Jubril Dalamun had forcefully defiled her minor daughter.

The police command spokesperson added that the police visited the crime scene and then arrested the suspect.

She mentioned that the case will be transferred to the SCID for further inquiry and appropriate investigation
