A 30 year old man identified as Sanusi Tinau was allegedly beaten to death in Bauchi State after he reportedly attempted to entice another man’s wife in Lumbu community, Ningi Local Government Area.

The shocking incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, drawing public concern over rising cases of domestic violence and mob attacks.

According to reports shared by security analyst Zagazola Makama, the unfortunate event took place around 2:09 a.m on Friday, October 17, 2025. Tinau allegedly visited the home of a married woman in the Lumbu area, where he was caught by her husband.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that the enraged husband attacked Tinau repeatedly, leaving him severely injured and unconscious before fleeing the scene.

Police officers who arrived shortly after the incident evacuated the victim to the General Hospital in Ningi. Sadly, a medical doctor confirmed him dead upon arrival.

Law enforcement officials have since begun efforts to locate and arrest the fleeing husband. The Bauchi State Police Command assured residents that a full investigation is ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding the attack and ensure justice is served.
