Man Cuts Teenager’s Hand During Grazing Dispute Between Herders In Kwara | Daily Report Nigeria

Abubakar Sulade, a sixteen-year-old boy was injured by a deep machete cut in his arm during a dispute between farmers and ranchers over a cattle grazing area in Kwara State’s Kaiama Local Government Area.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kwara State, Babawale Afolabi, claimed the hoodlum guilty for the attack.

Daily Report Nigeria that the incident happened in Sulade village on Friday.

Afolabi said, “There has been a long-term face-off between two families over grazing land, which took a bloody turn recently when one family attacked others with machetes, which resulted in the grievous bodily harm to one Abubakar Sulade, 16, who got a deep cut on his hand. He was reportedly attacked by one Bugi Juli who is still at large.”

Babawale added that the incident was reported to the agency’s divisional office in Kaima, and that an investigation for the assailant and his accomplice had been started.
