Manchester United is set to sign Cody Gakpo in the January transfer window.

After the Cristiano Ronaldo “burst up” interview with Piers Morgan and the eventual separation of both parties, the Red Devils will inevitably be looking to beef up the No 9 position as they appear to not have much depth in that area.

Several names are currently linked however the player constantly in the news is Cody Gakpo.

A Dutchman, Gakpo has established himself within the ranks of his PSV side and has attracted wide interest from European heavyweights.

According to The Athletic, the Red Devils have agreed on personal terms with Gakpo, but they did not launch an official bid for the Dutchman.

Popular journalist Pedro Almedia has also reported in his account that the 23-year-old ‘will be a United player in the January transfer window.
