Mauricio Pochettino, the former Chelsea manager, has been named the new head coach of the United States Men’s National Team.

Pochettino, who has previously managed Espanyol, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea, will now take on the challenge of national team management.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed Pochettino’s new role on Tuesday via X, stating, “Mauricio Pochettino is the head coach of the USMNT.”

In his press statement, Pochettino shared, “Joining the USMNT was not just about football for me. It’s about the journey this team and this country are on. The energy, passion, and ambition to achieve something truly historic are what inspired me.”
