The much-anticipated tenth season of Big Brother Naija, tagged “10/10,” kicked off on Saturday, July 26, 2025, with a dramatic twist — an all-female first wave of housemates.
A total of 15 women were introduced on launch night, each bringing a distinct personality, unique story, and fierce competitive edge as they made their way into the house. This marks the beginning of a bold new edition, with a record N150 million worth of prizes on the line.

The show’s iconic host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, returned to the stage to usher in what is already shaping up to be one of the most dynamic seasons yet.
Among the female housemates are students, creatives, single mothers, and professionals — each poised to leave a mark on the game. They include:
• Zita, 24, a student
• Ayomide, 23, from Ondo
• Sultana, repping Adamawa
• Doris Okorie
• Big Soso, from Kaduna
• Tracy, 27
• Ivatar, a single mum raised in South Africa with Igbo-Yoruba roots
• Sabrina
• DJ Jasmine, from Abuja
• Thelma, a mum of one who calls herself a “boss lady”
• Imisi, from Oyo State
• Ibifubara, a therapist and creative from Rivers
• Isabella, also from Rivers, mum of a 14-year-old, who calls herself an “unapologetic seductress”
• Joanna, 21, from Benue
• Dede, 23
The male housemates are expected to join the competition on Sunday, July 27, during the second half of the double-launch event. With the ladies already stirring interest, all eyes are now on how the guys will balance — or disrupt — the energy in the house.
