Messi Suspended From Training With Barcelona
Lionel Messi has reportedly been suspended from training with Barcelona.
The suspension will be lifted only when the Argentine signs a new contract at the Spanish club.
Recall that the forward has been a free agent since the expiration of his contract on June 30, and he’s expected and likely to sign a new deal at Nou Camp.

Though there was announcement that the player would put pen to paper on a new five-year contract with Barcelona, the deal is yet to be signed.
The captain was forced to accept a 50% pay cut in order to remain at the Nou Camp, owing to the Club’s financial struggles.
According to Spanish Newspaper AS, the forward will not be training with the club until the new contract is finalized.
Messi was spotted sipping cocktails alongside Luis Suarez when reports of his alleged ban from training with Barcelona emerged.
The 34-year-old’s football future is still hanging in the air with less than two weeks to the kickoff of the new La Liga season.
