In his third consecutive game for Inter Miami, Lionel Messi scored once again, securing a brace and contributing to their 3-1 victory against Orlando City in the Leagues Cup on Thursday.
Impressively, Messi now boasts a back-to-back brace and has scored a total of five goals in his first three matches for Inter Miami.

The 2022 World Cup winner opened the scoring in the 7th minute, receiving an assist from Robert Taylor, but Orlando City’s Cesar Araujo equalized ten minutes later.

In the 51st minute, Messi passed the penalty duties to Araujo, who successfully converted, giving Inter Miami a 2-1 lead.
Sealing the deal for the MLS side, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner netted his second goal in the 72nd minute with a right-footed strike in the box.

Despite Messi’s impressive performances, Inter Miami is currently at the bottom of the Major League Soccer (MLS) standings with 18 points from 22 games.
