Michael Owen, former Liverpool striker, recently praised Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola as the best tactician in the world.
Owen made these remarks following Manchester City’s 3-3 draw with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night, describing Guardiola as “absolutely exceptional.”
“I think he would teach you so much about the game,” Owen told TNT Sports about Guardiola.

“He is a student of the game. He is probably tactically the best manager on the planet at the moment, possibly ever.”
He added, “It would be a fascinating insight just to sit in the dressing room for a season with Pep Guardiola. He is absolutely exceptional.”
Throughout his illustrious career, Guardiola has achieved tremendous success, including winning the UEFA Champions League three times.
