Popular Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz The Bhad Guy has dropped his two cents on the recent negotiations between the government and the labour unions.
Recall that the labour unions had gone on strike, while proposing that the government increases the minimum wage to N250,000.
The strike also effected a whole lots of other things like the airport, and electricity, as workers continue to demand a more reasonable “living wage”.

The government, however have said the state can only afford to pay a sum of N62,000 to workers.
Reacting to this during an exclusive interview, Falz expressed his disappointment, saying a strike shouldn’t have been done before the government can hear the demands of the people.
He said;
“It shouldn’t have taken the NLC or whoever is involved to shut down the whole country for the government to know that the people deserve more than that. I think it is heartless, not compassionate.”
“Everyone was hoping that they would enter and surprise us, but they didn’t.,” he said, “Well, it’s not surprising of this government. We know how they got in power. A legitimate government is one that the people accept as their representation. Can you say this is a legitimate government?”
