Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah equalled a record set by Wayne Rooney during the Reds’ 4-2 victory over Tottenham on Sunday.
In a game where Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo, and Harvey Elliott also found the net, Salah contributed both a goal and an assist, helping keep Liverpool’s slim title hopes alive.
The ‘Egyptian King’ scored the opening goal and then set up Elliott’s impressive strike, bringing his season total to 18 goals and 10 assists.

With this performance, Salah became the first player to score and assist 10 or more times in three consecutive seasons. He’s also only the second player in Premier League history to achieve this in five different seasons, joining Wayne Rooney, who did it during his time at Manchester United.
