Nigerians have signed a petition to ban Marlian Music Label.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the petition has received an overwhelming response, with over 50,000 signatures.

The petition was launched on change.org in response to the untimely death of former Marlian Music signee, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, September 12, a year after his controversial departure from the record label due to internal conflicts and allegations of assault.

In light of the tragedy, passionate fans have taken action by signing the petition, voicing their desire to see Marlian Music banned.

The number of signatures collected proved widespread support for the late 27-year-old singer.

The police, on the other hand, have confirmed that they were currently investigating Mohbad’s demise.
