In spite of intense interest from Olympique Marseille, Stade Rennes and Everton, Simon rejected their advances.
Meanwhile, the former Gent forward has been one of Nantes’ most important players since 2020.
He helped them stay in Ligue 1 and even led them to the Coupe de France finals in 2022 and 2023.
In 201 appearances, Simon registered 37 goals and assisted 42 times.
According to L’Équipe:
“Moses Simon has undergone his medical ahead of a transfer from FC Nantes to Paris FC as a three-year contract awaits.”
Simon demonstrated his belief in the mission of Paris FC by picking a recently promoted team above more established ones.
Furthermore, Paris FC can be one of Ligue 1’s surprise packages the next season if they bring in more well-known players.
