Abosede, the mother of the late singer Mohbad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, has stood firm on her stance that her daughter-in-law, Wunmi, must undergo a DNA test for their son, Liam.
This insistence comes after Wunmi, who had previously expressed her willingness to undergo a DNA test for Liam, recently changed her position, stating that only her late husband could request such a test from her. She emphasized that Mohbad was the only man she had ever been intimate with.
In response to these developments, Abosede addressed the issue in a video circulating on X platform. She reiterated her demand for a DNA test on Liam but stressed that the matter should be handled within the family. She urged outsiders to refrain from interfering in their personal affairs.

“Nigerians should not be concerned about DNA issue, it was supposed to be a family issue. I insisted on it from the onset. It was Mohbad’s father that publicized the issue.
“Why are Nigerians hypocrites? By God’s grace, we shall get justice for Mohbad, even if his father’s intentions are different.
“Let Omowunmi do her part too. I cannot support her. I want her to do the DNA test.”
