Popular Nigerian rapper, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, popularly known as Laycon has spoken about his music career.

The BBNaija season 4 winner, during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo said that his song, ‘Fierce’ became a hit song, but that didn’t increase his popularity.

 

Laycon revealed that he has been in the music industry since 2012, but people did not show interest in knowing him till he released Fierce.

He said;

“I have been doing music since 2016. I have been releasing music since 2012. I feel like the song that made people say ‘Who is this guy?’ has to be ‘Who is Laycon?’ or the song ‘Fierce’, this song blew up but I didn’t blow up with the song,”

 

Also, he said that Afrobeats star, Davido made him realize while he was in the house that he has a huge fanbase.

Laycon said; “I think the first person that told me that I have no idea what was waiting for me outside was Davido.”
