NAF Airstrikes Kill Over 100 Bandits In Zamfara

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reportedly carried out a series of airstrikes in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, killing over 100 bandits.

NAF stated that the troops attacked the bandits while they were moving from a forest in the state to attack some communities.

The bandits were said to have been burnt beyond recognition during an operation called “MopDemAll.”

The operation was conducted by the Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD)

“OPHD engaged and targeted the terrorist group, neutralized on Tuesday. They burnt over 100 of them with their motorcycles while several others sustained various degrees of injuries,” according to spokesperson of the Operation Hadarin Daji, Captain Yahaya Ibrahim.

Ibrahim disclosed a mass burial of the slain terrorists was conducted in the Sangeko forest in Niger State and Babban Doka in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State thereafter.
