NAFDAC Completes Lab Analysis Of Madagascar’s Claimed COVID-19 Herbal Cure

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), has completed the laboratory analysis of the Madagascar’s claimed COVID-19 herbal cure.

The herbal drug sample claimed by the Madagascar Government capable of curing COVID-19 symptoms was handed over to NAFDAC during the month of May, 2020.

After seven weeks of research and analysis by the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, NAFDAC, and the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research, the drug sample has now completed its analysis as the report is expected to be forwarded to the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, any moment from now.

 “NAFDAC’s laboratory people have concluded their own analysis. The agency’s director of laboratories will forward it to the Director-General and the DG will forward it to the Minister of Health who is a member of the Presidential Task Force,” An anonymous NAFDAC top official disclosed.
