Popular Afrobeats artiste, Naira Marley has declared his support for the campaign against drug abuse.
Marley made the declaration when he visited the headquarters of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Thursday in Abuja.
During the visit, Naira Marley urged his fans, known as Marlians, and Nigerian youths to shun drugs and substance abuse for the sake of their wellbeing.
In a Twitter video posted by the
NDLEA, the singer emphasized the negative impact of substance abuse, stating that can lead to a return to crime and has detrimental effects on individuals.

“I will like to urge my fans the Marlians and all the Nigerian youths to stop doing drugs because it is not good for your wellbeing.
Let us stop substance abuse in any form.
“I have keyed into this campaign to support the NDLEA to stop drugs in the streets.
Please, join us.
It is really not good; it makes you go back into crime; it does a lot of things to you.”
Naira Marley rose to fame after he face a fraud case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
