Nnamdi Kanu Engages Senior Lawyer, Mike Ozekhome

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra “IPOB”, has employed the services of popular human rights activist and lawyer, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), as his new lead counsel.

The former lead counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, confirmed this to reporters in the early hours of Tuesday, January 18, at the Federal high court where Kanu is expected to be arraigned.

Earlier, operatives of the Department of State Services and the Nigerian Police Force chased and harassed journalists at the premises of the courtroom.
