Mazzarri, who took over from Rudi Garcia just last October, has faced challenges leading the team to success. As a replacement, Napoli is reportedly eyeing Slovakia’s head coach, Francesco Calzona.
Romano tweeted Monday evening: “Napoli are set to sack head coach Walter Mazzarri.
“It happens ahead of #UCL game vs Barcelona, as reported—after he replaced Rudi Garcia in October.
“Slovakia head coach Francesco Calzona will replace Mazzarri with immediate effect, deal being finalised.”
