President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan, has assured of the National Assembly’s commitment to passing the 2022 Appropriation Bill before the end of 2021.

Lawan stated this in his opening speech at the budget laying ceremony on Thursday by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He called to mind the 9th National Assembly promise of returning Nigeria to a January-to-December budget cycle which was started with the 2020 budget and repeated in the 2021 budget.
