NFF Pursues Herve Renard for Super Eagles Coaching Role After Paris 2024

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is actively pursuing Frenchman Herve Renard to coach the Super Eagles.

Renard is expected to step down as head coach of the French women’s national team after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

According to AfricaSoccer.com, the NFF is eager to appoint him as the new head coach of the Super Eagles. Renard, 55, is reportedly keen to return to Africa, where he has enjoyed significant success.

He led Zambia to victory in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations and achieved the same feat with Côte d’Ivoire in 2015.

The NFF is seeking a new coach following Finidi George’s resignation and securing Renard would be a major accomplishment for Nigerian football, though they are expected to face stiff competition for his services.
