The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) denied reports of sacking Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr.
The denial follows series of reports online that the German gaffer has been shown the exit door by the NFF.
The debunker was made by NFF’s Assistant Director, Media, Ademola Olajire, who denied knowledge of the development.

Olajire stressed in a statement that sacking a coach takes processes and that has not been the case with the reports being circulated.
“I’m not aware of Rohr’s sack because there are procedures for doing things at the federation.
“Before such a decision could be taken, there will be a meeting of the NFF board and a release issued to the public.
“As for now, I’m not aware of the sack. The online platform you claimed reported the story cannot announce his sack without confirmation from the NFF,” Olajire told Sportingsun.
Reports had been rife that the Super Eagles coach was sacked following the unimpressive performance by the team in Tuesday’s World Cup Qualifier against Cape Verde, following calls by fans seeking his sack.
