Nigeria Forward Gets Europa League Player of The Week Nomination

Nigeria’s Union Saint Gilloise striker, Victor Boniface has been nominated for the UEFA Europa League Player of the Week award.

Boniface scored twice in his side’s 3-3 draw against Bundesliga club, Union Berlin on Thursday night.

The 22-year-old scored his side first and third goal in a dramatic contest filled with goals.

The Nigerian has so far scored five goals in the UEFA Europa League this season.

It is the first time Boniface would be nominated for the individual
accolade this season.

Manchester United midfileder, Bruno Fernandes; Roma forward, Paulo Dybala, and Bayer Leverkusn’s Edmond Tapsoba are the other players nominated for the award.
