Four teams have gained promotion to the Nigeria National League from Nationwide League One, Division One promotion play-off.

The promoted teams include Kano Ambassadors FC, Mai Kunkele United, Warinje FC and City FC.

Mai Kunkele United edged past NA Royal FC 3–1 to mount the top of the table with seven points from the Bwari Centre.

City FC grabbed three wins from three matches at the Kaduna Centre to get nine points, the most in their group.

In their group’s last game, Kano Ambassadors FC defeated Discovery Academy 2-0 to finish with nine points at the Gumel Stadium in Jigawa.

Meanwhile, Warinje FC led their group in Jos with seven points from three games.

On Sunday, they thrashed DMD FC three goals to nil in the last match of the group.

After intense battles at all four centres, Kano Ambassadors FC, Mai Kunkele United, Warinje FC, and City FC have truly shown their strength and clinched their places in the Nigeria National League.
