Nigeria Vs Portugal: Manchester United’s midfielder, has given the Selecao a 2 – 0 lead against the Super Eagles.

The midfielder scored his first of two first half goals from a tap-in early in friendly match at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon, the Portuguese capital.

The United captain then scored from the penalty spot on 35 minute after a Nigerian defender handled the ball in the 18 yard box.

Fernandes almost added a third late on in the first after beating goalkeeper Uzoho but missed hitting the target from the side of the post.
