Pogba Denies Manchester United £500,000-a-week Contract Offer

Pogba Denies Manchester United £500,000-a-week Contract Offer

According to reports on Friday, January 7, Paul Pogba was offered new terms worth £500,000 per week last summer, which would have made him the highest-paid player in the English Premier League.

While Manchester United has since denied the reports, Pogba’s spokesman has issued a statement denying reports of a recently extended contract offer from United.

The Frenchman is currently concentrating on returning to action after an injury.

In response to media reports, the spokesman stated that the player has not been offered a new contract in recent months.

“Paul is fully focused on his recovery from injury with the goal of contributing to the team as soon as possible,” said Pogba’s spokesman.

Pogba is in the final year of his contract and is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs this month.

If Manchester United and Pogba are unable to reach an agreement on a new contract, the club will lose Pogba for nothing this summer.
