#NigeriaDecides: Peter Obi Wins Plateau State With Over 1m Votes

The candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has won the presidential election in Plateau State.

The former Anambra governor was declared winner after scoring over one million votes from the state.

Results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission show that the Obi recorded 1,125,400 ahead of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who polled 450,329 votes.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress’ Bola Tinubu recorded 150,134 votes to come a distant third.

Tinubu Clears All LGAs in Oyo

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has been declared the winner of the presidential election in Oyo State.

As declared by Oyo State collation officer Professor Olusola Babatunde, the Tinubu polled a total of 449,884 votes, the highest in the presidential election in the state and won in all its 33 local government areas.

A total of 851,956 votes were cast in Saturday’s election, with 809,485 being valid votes.

With 182,977 votes, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had the second-highest number of votes, followed by the Labour Party, which had 99,110 votes
