Lance Corporal Martins had in a 12-minute long video, demonstrated his anger towards the country’s security chiefs, especially Tukur Buratai, and Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin, for being lackadaisical and not committed bringing a final end to the incessant killings of Nigerians by armed bandits and terrorist groups.
The soldier disclosed how the Nigerian military had unlawfully detained some of his colleagues, over their demands for better weapons and ammunitions for the fight against Boko Haram and armed bandits in Nigeria.
Lance somehow knew what he was getting himself to as he stated that though he might be arrested or probably end up being killed for his actions, he was willing and ready to sacrifice his life for Nigeria’s betterment.
