Nigerian Army Retired Colonel Found Dead in Hotel | Daily Report Nigeria

A retired Colonel has been found lifeless in a hotel room in Plateau State.

According to reports, the retired officer, identified as Vandi who was said to have checked into an hotel within the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) base camp in Buruku, Plateau State on July was found by an attendant around 3:20 p.m.

According to reports from SaharaReporters, the military have confirmed that the body of the deceased has been moved to the 3 Division Military Hospital in Jos for further investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

The signal stated:

“AT ABOUT 161520A 24 TPS OF HQ 3 DIV RECEIVED INFO ON SUBJ, ON ONE COL BT VANDI (RTD) WAS FOUND DEAD IN AN HOTEL ROOM AT NDA BASE CAMP BUKURU PLATEAU STATE. TPS MOB TO THE SCENE AND MOVE THE CORPS TO 3DMSH FOR FURTHER ACTION. PIC ATTACHED.“

The cause of Colonel Vandi’s death remains under investigation as authorities work to uncover more details.
