A Nigerian lady has been fired from her job for bleaching her skin.

According to her employer who made this known via her Twitter account, she said her bleached skin is making their customers uncomfortable as they complianed of her dark knuckles being irritating.

The Management however suggested that she wore gloves to cover up the knuckles but she refused.

She also refused to be moved to another department where she wouldn’t interact with guests.

As a result of that, the management was left with no option but to fire her.

“I am not against bleaching your skin but just do it right,” the Twitter user who shared the story wrote, adding that her company does not discriminate against staff with medical conditions of any sort.
