Senate to Arrest Akpabio, Akwa Over Contractors’ Fees
The Nigerian Senate has threatened to arrest the minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio and the Sole Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Effiong Akwa, over money owed to contractors.
According to Senator Ayo Akinyelure, Chairman of the committee, the duo had persistently flouted invitations to the Red Chambers premising on several petitions against them.

Abba Kyari Rejects Prison Food
Suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari has reportedly rejected food served him at the Kuje Correctional Centre, where he and his co-defendants were remanded on Monday.
However, Francis Enobore, the NCoS spokesman said prisoners undergoing prosecution had the right to eat meals prepared by family members.

Some inmates at the Kuje Prison have been left elated following the remanding of embattled super cop, Abba Kyari.
Most of the inmates are reported to be those who had personal encounters with the former Intelligence Response Team boss.
