I. FG To ‘Sack’ Federal Government Workers
Minister of Finance, Ahmed Zainab has disclosed that the current administration is working towards downsizing workers at the federal level.

She said the move is motivated by the huge funds regularly expended on paying the workers. She, however, said the government is preparing an exit package for those that will be affected by the downsizing.

2. Buhari Gives Condition To Sign Electoral Bill
President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed conditions that will make him sign the amended electoral act into law.
In an interview with Channels Television, the President said the electoral act will be signed into law if the legislature removes direct primaries and include indirect primaries and consensus candidates into the bill.

Governors of the South-West States have blasted the Attorney-General of the federation, Abubakar Malami for his role in the public show of disrespect meted on Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu by a police officer.
The officer boldly told the governor in a now-viral video that only Malami and the IGP could other him and his men out of the Magodo Estate.
