While the likes of HushPuppi have placed Nigeria on the world map for the wrong reasons, countless other Nigerian youths are portraying the country’s image on a good note.
A Nigerian student identified as Dr. Faeren Adzege has projected the country in a good light, coming out as the first African in Stavropol State Medical University, Stavropol, Russia to enter the university’s esteemed Hall of Fame.
She was honoured with a gold medal as the best graduating student for the class of 2020.
The Benue-born student gave an appreciation speech to the Rector and went on to lay flowers at the university’s monument to the teachers and students of the school who died during the Great Patriotic War.
Dr. Faeren has over the years received other national and university awards and accolades as, Leader of the year (twice in a row), International Student of the Year (thrice in a row), Miss Intellect – Stavropol State Medical University, Face of the faculty of International students (twice in a row).
She has also received presidential stipend for an outstanding academic performance and excellence in research and cultural work.
Dr. Adzege who hails from Benue has indeed done Nigeria and it’s citizens proud.
