A Nigerian has once again fought against all odds, as she sets a new Guinness world record.

The lady, who is a Nigerian student Sets the new record for the longest cat walk ever being made by a model.
A Nigerian student, Olalade Ayelabola has set a new Guinness World record for the longest distance of catwalk done by a model.
Ayelabola, who is a 500-level computer science student of the university of Lagos (UNILAG) successfully completed a 130.62km catwalk.

She was said to have done this on October 1, 2024, at the indoor sports center of UNILAG.
She further added additional 10km walk, making it a total of 2,058 laps within the sports center.
Sharing the achievement on her Instagram page, she wrote;
“I did it, everyone! My record is set. There were difficulties but I stood through it. There were pains but I refused to cower.
“Thank you for helping me do this. Thank you @unilagnigeria @esdcunilag. Thank you my beautiful models. Thank you to everyone on my team. I am grateful for it all. Thank you Nigeria,” she wrote on Instagram confirming her exploit.

However, the record is yet to be recognised and confirmed by the GWR
This new attempt comes after the successful one by celebrity chef, Hilda Bacci, who broke the Guinness world record for the longest hours a chef can cook.
