The IPOB leader is still in the DSS torture chamber since the Federal Government has refused to release him despite court orders, says Kanunta Kanu, one of Nnamdi Kanu’s brothers.

Kanunta Kanu accused the Department of State Services (DSS) of detaining Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra via social media.

Some people are having the notion that #MaziNnamdiKanu has been released from detention the answer is NO, he is still in DSS.

“When will @NGRPresident and @GovNigeria obey the court orders? @StateDept @FCDOGovUK @CanadianPM @EU_Commission @UN @UKParliament.”

Kanunta Kanu was reacting to a ruling from the Federal High Court in Umuahia which insisted that Kanu be returned to Kenya.

The court ruled that Kanu’s extraordinary rendition was against his fundamental rights and ordered that he be returned to the country he was in.

Recall that the Biafra agitator was arrested in Kenya and repatriated to Nigeria last year.

And since then, he was locked up by the DSS, while also subjecting him to legal tussles.

The Nigerian Government was accused of subjecting the IPOB leader to extraordinary rendition.
