Nnamdi Kanu is Next – Simon Ekpa Reacts to Sunday Igboho’s Release

Simon Ekpa, a self-proclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has responded to the release of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho.

Ekpa stated that Igboho’s release indicates that Kanu will be the next to experience freedom.

He made the remark while mentioning that he spoke with Igboho on the phone to confirm his release.

In a tweet, Ekpa thanked the President of the Benin Republic for ensuring Igboho’s release.

“I just spoke to my brother and friend Chief Sunday Igboho on the phone a few minutes ago and I can confirm he is a free person,” Ekpa said.

I must thank Benin’s President for his role in freeing Chief Igboho, followed by our Leader MNK. Oduduwa, please accept my congratulations! Freedom!”

On Monday, Igboho regained their freedom in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

On Monday, the Government of the Republic of Benin freed the founder of the Oduduwa Republic.

The news was revealed in a statement issued by Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, the umbrella body of Yoruba Self-determination Groups.

According to the spokesman, the Government of Benin Republic handed over the Igboho IOO leader, Prof. Banji Akintoye.
