A Nigerian man, simply identified as Bassey Awai has penned on social media why he broke up with his girlfriend.
Awai noted the reason for his action owing to the fact that the lady does not have a Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to vote in the forthcoming presidential elections.
As a supporter of Peter Obi, a
presidential aspirant from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Awai noted he was disappointed that she would not be able to join him in voting for his candidate due to her lack of PVC.

The young man added that he cannot go on in a relationship with someone who does not have the interest of their future kids at heart.
He said;
“I just break up with my girlfriend today, she doesn’t have PVC to support Peter obi. I can’t date someone who doesn’t have the interest of our unborn children At ♥ heart.”
