Law Firm Gives No PVC, No Salary Order

A Nigerian law firm has reportedly vowed to withhold the salaries of its staff members who do not have their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs.

This was stated in an internal memo dated June 8.

Just as in the memo, the Principal Partner, Barr. A.K Agbasiere, KSJI of the firm, Antonio Lex Firma, gave the order.

It declared June 9 and 10 as work-free days for staff members to get their PVCs.

The firm again promised that defaulters would not receive their salaries.
