The former Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Olusegun “Segun” Awolowo, has passed away at 62. His family announced the news in a heartfelt statement on Thursday, describing him as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a steady anchor to everyone around him.

In the statement, the family expressed deep sorrow over his death, calling him the “most phenomenal husband, father and grandfather; steady, wise, endlessly loving, and the constant anchor of our family.” They added that he lived with purpose, humility, and an unwavering spirit of service that shaped every part of his life.
