Engr. Prince Godwin Obie has congratulated Senator Heineken Lokpobiri on his ministerial nomination by President Bola Tinubu.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Lokpobiri was alongside others nominated in Tinubu’s second ministerial list.

Reacting to the development, Obie in a terse statement on Saturday, lauded Lokpobiri’s appointment, describing it as ‘worthy to the core’.

The business mogul further commended President Tinubu for repaying the trust and commitment Lokpobiri had displayed towards his ambition.

He said:

“On behalf of my family, I say congratulations to my brother, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri on his nomination as Minister of the Federal Republic.

“For obvious reasons, your appointment is without doubt unquestionable owing to your rich antecedent and impeccable record.

“I am overtly convinced that your appointment will do the Nigerian state massive good as you would unleash great service to our nation.

“I also commend President Bola Tinubu for repaying the trust and commitment your portrayed towards his ambition and to the party.

“Once again, congratulations.”
