The Obotebe Political Forum has extended congratulations to the new Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Chief Combolous Ikisa on his elevation.

In a terse statement by Solomon Pere and Lewei Frederick, Chairman and Secretary respectively, the group described Ikisa’s emergence as divine.

It further prayed God to grant the chairman the courageous wisdom in the discharge of his duties.

The group said;

“It is divinely orchestrated for you to be at the helm of affairs in our dear Council Area at this point of history.

“Even as we celebrate your upliftment, we urge you to prioritise the welfare of the Burutu people in the discharge of your duties.

“We also assure you of our commitment in giving you the needed support you need to succeed.

“Once again, congratulations.”

Recall that Ikisa took over as acting chairman of Burutu Council following the appointment of Godknows Angele as Commissioner of Housing by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.
