Following tensions from the collation of results of the Governorship and House of Assembly elections in kano state, a dusk-to-dawn curfew has been imposed with a view to forestall the breakdown of law and order in the state.
This was disclosed in a statement on Monday morning by the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Mallam Muhammad Garba.
According to him, the decision was “to prevent hoodlums from causing chaos in the already tensed situation.”
