Rangers’ Leon Balogun Suffers Injury in Win Over Kilmarnock, Manager Clement Hopes for Quick Recovery

Rangers’ manager Philippe Clement has announced that Leon Balogun got injured during Sunday’s home victory over Kilmarnock.

Balogun, who played well in the first half, was replaced by Ben Davies after the break.

After the game, Clement said the Nigerian international had a muscle injury.

“Yes, he (Balogun) was injured, which is why I had to substitute him. I hope it’s just a minor muscle strain,” Clement told Rangers Review.

“We’ll find out more in the next few days. But it was clear that he was struggling too much to continue.”

Balogun, 35, has played in 14 league matches for the Rangers this season.
