Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom Hails Delta, Bayelsa Governors, Monarchs for Supporting 10th Coronation Anniversary

The Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom has expressed deep appreciation to the Delta and Bayelsa State Governments, traditional rulers, corporate organisations, and citizens whose collective support ensured the success of the 10th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, the Pere Amakosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom.

The royal gratitude was contained in a statement signed by High Chief Boro Matthew Opudu, Olotu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom and Chairman of the 10th Coronation Anniversary Planning Committee, and Chief M. Keme, Secretary of the Committee.

The statement read partly:“With hearts filled with gratitude and joy, the 10th Coronation Anniversary Planning Committee of His Royal Majesty, the Pere Amakosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, on behalf of the Traditional Council and the entire people of the Kingdom, wishes to return all glory, honour, and adoration to Almighty God for the success of the just-concluded anniversary celebration of our revered Monarch.

“We extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who identified with and honoured the good people of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom during this historic milestone. Your goodwill and presence added immeasurable colour and grace to the celebrations.”

The Committee specially acknowledged His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis O. Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, represented by Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly; and His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, represented by Hon. Lucky Youbowa, Leader of the Bayelsa Delegation.

Also recognised were Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), Engr. Matthew Tonlagha, Chief (Dr.) Dennis Burutu Otuaro, Presidential Adviser and Coordinator, Presidential Amnesty Programme; Chief (Engr.) Keston Pondi, Managing Director, Tantita Security Services; and Hon. Julius Pondi, Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.

The Committee commended the management of Julius Berger Services Ltd, Warri Port, led by Chief Rainer Jench; the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), represented by Mr. Oladakpo, Head of Statistics, Lagos Office; and other corporate entities such as Gradient, Crown Flour Mill, and firms operating within the Delta Ports corridor for their unwavering support.
