John Ogu, a former midfielder for the Super Eagles, is advocating for Randy Waldrum’s inclusion within the team’s coaching staff.

Under Waldrum’s guidance, the Super Falcons, the country’s women’s national team, demonstrated commendable performance in the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Unfortunately, the Super Falcons were eliminated in the Round of 16 by England’s Three Lionesses on Monday.

During the group stage, the former African champions held Olympic champions Canada to a goalless draw and secured a 3-2 victory against co-hosts Australia.

Despite a valiant effort, Waldrum’s team suffered a 4-2 penalty shootout loss to England.

Impressed by the Super Falcons’ remarkable showing in Australia and New Zealand, Ogu has urged the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to incorporate the American coach into the Super Eagles’ setup.

Ogu expressed his thoughts on Twitter, stating, “Let’s bring in @CoachWaldrum to collaborate with the Super Eagles @thenff.”
